“I’ve been in therapy on and off for more than 35 years, and I’ve never connected with or liked a counsellor as much as I do with Mary. Working together has been the most positive and supportive experience I’ve ever had.”

New Day Therapy provides private counselling and psychotherapy in Dublin. We offer a warm, non‑judgemental space to explore challenges and make meaningful change. Our work draws on approaches like CBT, ACT and mindfulness, tailored to you.
I am a pre-accredited psychotherapist (MIACP) with a BSc in Counselling & Psychotherapy from PCI College, Dublin. I also hold a BA in Sociology and Political Studies from NUI Galway, a Professional Certificate in Adolescent Psychotherapy (IACP-recognised), and a Certificate in Mindfulness.
I am deeply committed to supporting individuals as they navigate challenges, develop self-awareness, and strengthen their inner resources. I believe that therapy is most effective when it is collaborative and tailored to each person’s unique needs—there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach.
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I offer a confidential, non-judgemental, and compassionate space where clients can feel heard, respected, and supported. I work with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, family estrangement, self-harm, and suicidal thoughts.
I also have a particular interest in working with adolescents. Young people today face increasing pressures, uncertainty, and self-doubt, and I am passionate about providing them with a supportive space to explore their struggles, build resilience, and develop a stronger sense of self.
Whether you are facing a specific difficulty or simply wish to better understand yourself, I would be honoured to walk alongside you on your therapeutic journey.
